TorrentFreak lists the top 10 most torrented movies and TV shows based on downloads at Mininova.

While most of the list looks pretty geeky, the strong placing of Desperate Housewives suggests torrents have reached the Oprah demographic of bored homemakers. Of course, studios should take note: torrent stats could become the new Nielsen ratings. Apparently, there’s a lot of demand for downloads of studio content, and the studios just aren’t meeting that demand.
