MySpace Brags About Preemptive DRM

True to its nature as a Big Media puppet, MySpace brags about digital fingerprinting to prevent infringing videos from being uploaded again after being taken down. True to Fox redneck machismo, they’re calling it Take Down Stay Down!
Hah. I foresee all sorts of problems with this preemptive DRM, not the least of which are blocked false positives that’ll annoy the Hell out of users. Just another reason to avoid MySpace — or crack it.
