Photobucket Videos Back on MySpace

by Mike Abundo on April 24th, 2007

With 25% of Photobucket users embedding videos on MySpace, I guess something had to give. After a ban earlier this month, Photobucket videos are once again allowed on MySpace.

In typical Fox fashion, the deal isn’t very transparent. Given MySpace’s greedy walled nature, it probably involved Photobucket paying millions — which, fortunately for everyone, Photobucket actually has.

Of course, it’s typical of offline media giants and their online puppets to go back on their word in dealings with independent online media entities. Don’t be surprised if MySpace kicks Photobucket off again once their own little video service feels threatened.
